Frequently asked questions
What do I need to bring to a notarization?
An unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID), the complete and unsigned document, and any other signers or required witnesses. Don't sign anything in advance — your signature must be witnessed.
Can you come to a hospital or nursing home?
Yes — these visits are a regular part of my work. The signer must be alert, aware, and able to communicate their willingness to sign. If medication or condition affects awareness, we'll reschedule for a better moment; it protects the signer and the document.
Do you provide the documents?
No. A notary verifies identity and witnesses signatures but cannot prepare or draft legal documents. Your attorney, lender, or agency provides the documents; I make sure they're properly executed.
How fast can you get here?
Same-day service is often available, including evenings and weekends. For loan signings, booking a day or two ahead guarantees your preferred time slot.
What areas do you serve?
The entire Commonwealth of Kentucky — all 120 counties. Travel fees are quoted up front based on distance from Central Kentucky.
